I’m Harriet Carter, a New Zealand–based Photographer and Videographer specialising in fashion and brand storytelling.
I work with fashion, lifestyle and creative brands to create visuals that feel elevated, cohesive and aligned with their identity — from campaign imagery to short-form video content.
I choose to work with brands because I understand the deeper meaning behind an image. Good marketing is about more than just strong visuals — it’s about how the work makes the viewer feel. The colours, mood and tone of an image all play a role in shaping perception, whether that’s creating a sense of calm, confidence or connection.
My approach blends an editorial eye with a commercial mindset. I focus on creating work that not only looks considered and beautiful, but serves a clear purpose across web, social and marketing platforms.
I value collaboration and clear communication, working closely with clients throughout the creative process — from concept and planning through to final delivery.
